Introduction
As you slowly walk down an old garbage filled alley in the twoleg place you notice several cats staring down at you. Some hiss or even swipe the air as you pass them. But not one attacks you. Their eyes are glowing a poisonus green color in the darkened alley. You begin to think you never should of come down this alley when a large garbage can next to you begins to rock and falls over blocking you from going any further. A large orange tabby tom cat jumps onto the garbage can larger than any of the others you have yet to see. "You are trespassing onto The Tribe Of Poisoned Fangs I am Shrapnel the King of this tribe. You have thoughtlessly entered our territory. If I had not told them to stand down you would be dead by now. Are you hear to join us? You better be or you won't escape alive..." Shrapnel lifts his tail high and the hissing of the cats increases and they begin to surround you. "Choose wisely if you wish to see tomorrow."
Why The Clan Was Made
After finally escaping the science lab where most of the cats had been born and spent their entire lives being tortured and tested by twolegs they gathered in a side alley a long way away from the building that had been their prison. From there many scattered and became loners, rogues or even kittypets wanting a simple and easy life after everything they had been through. But many stayed together unsure of what to do or where to go. They didn't want to part from those who they had come to think of family and friends through the years. But it wasn't until Shrapnel a huge muscular orange tabby to stepped forward and suggested that they stay together as one and form a tribe. The youngest had no idea what a tribe was, the oldest wondered where he had heard about tribes after all he had been born in the lab four winters ago. But as Shrapnel explained to the youngest ones what a tribe was more and more cats began to nod their heads and murmur to one another. This was a way for them all to stay togeth and be safe. The elders asked who would lead this "tribe". Shrapnel stepped forward and stated that he would. The youngest among them nodded their heads in agreement while the elders shook there head saying he was to young. But one of the oldest of the elders stepped forward, one who remembered what life was like before the first cats where captured ten years ago. He stood up for Shrapnel reminding them that they would all still be in cages if Shrapnel hadn't suggested the fight back. That he had been the first to attack the twolegs at great risk to his own life. After several moments of muttering between themselves they finally agreed that he should lead them. Together Shrapnel and the elders came up with the laws of the tribe and the positions they thought would work best for the tribe to be sure it lived on forever.
Distinguishing Marks
Eyes: All cats that came from the Science Lab have bright poison green eyes. If a cat joins the tribe and has a litter of kits their kits eyes will most likely be a pale yellow, or green. (Roll a dice 1-2 Pale Yellow, 3-4 Pale Green, 5 Bright Green, 6 color of parents eyes) Cats from the tribe do not have multi colored eyes it is unheard of even if one joins the clan with them their kits will not get molti colored eyes.
Fangs: Cats from the lab or born into the tribe have large snake like fangs that are filled with deadly poison. Like snakes their fangs can be in or out.
Hood: All snakes from the lab and born into the tribe have a hood like the King Cobra made up of a flap of skin and fur. They can make it go out or have it lay flat. When flat you can't even tell it's there.
Rattle Tails: Not all but a few cats from the lab or are born into the tribe have a tail much like a rattle snakes where it rattles to warn others that they will bite if they don't leave them alone. (Only 1 in 6 cats get this roll a dice 3 you get the rattle 1-2 & 4-6 you don't)
Tribal Law
Shrapnel's Word Is Law: Shrapnel is the King you must obey his orders, any who don't will be punished. If you truly believe he is wrong about something go to him and ask to speak to him in private and tell him what you think and feel. Just don't out right ignore and disobey him.
Any Major Decisions Must Be Discussed And Agreed On With The Elders: Elders have seen many years and have lived longer than most, it is believed because they have seen so many years that they are wise and know all. So any decision that will have an impact on the entire tribe must be discussed and agreed on with the Elders.
Defend The Tribe With Your Life: In battle don't think twice about killing if it protects your clan and clan mates. Death comes to any who hesitates in battle.
Kits And She-Cats Are Not To Be Harmed: Anyone found breaking this law will be punished severely and than banished. If found on their territory 24 hours after being banished they'll be killed on site.
The First Born Daughter Is Giving To The Duke: At the age of two years old (24 Moons) the first born daughter of the Queen and King is giving to the Duke to be his mate.
Prince Becomes King: When the King dies the Prince stands up and becomes the next King. he must find a mate with in three moons, if he doesn't than the Duke takes over the tribe. If there is no male heir than the first born daughter becomes Queen she has two moons to find a mate if she doesn't find one the Duke is made her mate.
Duke Becomes King: If the King and Queen dies without a male or female heir the Duke becomes King. But if the King dies and the Queen survives the Queen must find a new mate who will become King within a moon of the death of her first mate. If she doesn't find a mate the Duke becomes King.
Only Toms Can Fight: Toms are considered to be the protectors of the clan.
Only She-Cats Can Hunt: She-Cats are the providers of the clan they go out and hunt and bring food back for the kits, nursing she-cats, soldiers, Duke, King, Queen and elders.
Elders Are Treated With Respect: Elders are respected and cherished for their knowledge.
Kits Don't Start Training Until Eight Moons: The tribe wants their kits to have a long carefree and happy childhood before they have to start worrying about training.
Paths Can't Fight: They can't go into their first battle until they are twelve moons old. If a trainee or path is found in a battle before that age two months will be added on for when they become a Soldier. Huntresses trainees are forbidden from fighting period, if one if found fighting they will be punished and 3 months will be added on from when they become a Huntress.
Trainee's Must Be 16 Moons Old Before Being Made A Soldier or Huntress: Before being made a Soldier they must sleep on Snake Ledge all night. If they survive they are to be made a soldier. Before being made a Huntress a trainee must spend an entire night hunting. If they find enough food to feed the entire clan before the sun rises they are ready to become a Huntress. If they don't they must train another moon before being tested again. (Roll the dice: 1-2 They don't hunt enough food 3-6 they hunt enough food)
All Cats Must Wait Their Turn To Eat: Kits and nursing Huntresses eat first, followed by the elders, than trainees, than the King and Queen, than Soldiers, than the Duke and Dutches and than the Huntresses. Once everyone has eaten at least once they others may go back for seconds. If there are prisoners they must wait until everyone else has had their fill. By than there is usually little to no food left for them.
Snakes Are Forbidden Food: Because they share the blood and venom of a Mamba and King Cobra they consider snakes to be precious and huntresses are forbidden to kill them as are soldiers. If seen they are to leave them alone. Anyone found killing them will be killed themselves.
It's Ok To Take Kittypet Food: It's ok to take food from a twoleg or steel the food from a kittypet, just as long as you refuse the soft life of a kittypet. But if you choose to take the life of a kittypet and stop being part of the Tribe Of Poisoned Fangs we will understand but you may never return to us.
Mates Must Be Blessed: When two cats join together they must receive the kings blessing before they may become mates. 98% of the time they will receive the blessing. This law is to make sure no sick, diseased or deformed cats pass on their genes and possibly pass on their sickness, disease or deformity. If a sick, disease, deformed cat is healed they must have the Queens blessing and the Kings blessing to finally receive a mate.
It Is Forbidden To Call The King By His True Name: All cats must call the King The Blade Of The Tribe! Only family and close friends may call the King by his true name. It is extremely disrespectful for a non family or friend to call the King by his true name. Any who do will be punished as the King see fits.
It Is Forbidden To Bite A Fellow Tribesman: Because of the poison in their fangs it is forbidden to bite a tribe mate with their fangs. If they have their fangs in they can bite with heir other teeth in training but never with their fangs. It's the first thing kits are taught is how to control their fangs so they don't bite another cat even on accident.
Punishments
Death: This is kept only for the most severest of crimes done to the tribe. Usually when one has murdered a fellow tribe mate, especially a kit of Huntress.
Banished: Banishment is very rare, usually kept for those who harm a kit or huntress. On the rare occasion you may be accepted back into the tribe if you prove you truly apologize and repent for what you did. And on the even rarer occasion a cat may be banished only for a certain amount of time and than allowed to return after that time is up. But during the time of their banishment they must not be found, seen, heard of smelt on their territory.
Fasting: They must go three days without food and may only drink water once in the morning and once at night. This is often combined with being Denned.
Denned: The tribes form of grounding where they are not allowed to leave their floor for a certain amount of time. This can be as short as one day to as long as a full season depending on how severe the crime.
Stripped: If one of high position breaks any of the laws they will be stripped of position with no hope of ever getting it back.
Mateless: The cat is forbidden to ever have a mate, this is very rare to happen. Usually the only cats banned from ever having a mate have something wrong with them, deformed in some way or are sickly, they'll be banned from mating so they can't pass on their disease or illness into future kits of the clan. Only healthy pure, whole cats may have the Kings blessing to find a mate.
Lashes: When a cat harms a kit or Huntress they'll be clawed (lashed) several times around the ears, muzzle, and shoulders leaving deep welts. The number of lashes they receive is decided by the King and Queen. During the lashes the cat is held tightly by two or three of the strongest Soldiers. Once the King has finished his lashes each member of the family of the Kit/Huntress that was hurt or killed can take a turn and give up to five lashes of their own. If a kit or Huntress was only injured the cats wounds will be treated so they don't become infected but not enough to make sure they don't scar. If the Kit/Huntress was killed the cat will be chased out of the twoleg place and into the wilderness being banished from the tribe without treatment.
Sleeping On Snake Ledge: If one has truly angered The King "The Blade Of The Tribe" they will be made to sleep one night on the Snake ledge, and they'll be forbidden to bring sacrificial prey with them. (Mainly given to those who call The King by his true name and not by his given name "The Blade Of The Tribe" Roll a dice 1-2 your cat dies 3-6 he lives)
Beliefs
The Tribe Of Poisoned Fangs have a strong belief that Snakes are to be treasured. They believe that killing a snake is one of the worst cries you could commit second only to killing a kit or Huntress. The Tribe of Poisoned Fangs worship snakes, when a Soldier in training goes to Snake Ledge he is to bring fresh prey with him to please the snakes. It is believed that if you live through the night the snakes have accepted you into the clan and have accepted the sacrificed prey in your place. But if you do not survive they believe you must have angered the snake spirits in some way and did not accept your sacrifice so you where sacrificed in it's place. (Roll a dice 1 you die 2-6 you live, if you roll a one you can always buy an item from the shop to bring them back to life so it was like they didn't die but survived the night.)
Sacrifices must be given to the Snake Spirits and Snake Ledge on every new moon. The King picks twoo trainees, one huntress one soldier, two Soldiers and two Huntresses fast all day than once the sun as set they each take a prey from the fresh prey pile to be sacrificed at Snake Ledge. There they set their sacrifices on Snake Ledge, the King than leads them in prayer as they pray for the Snake Spirits to accept their sacrifice and protect the clan for yet another moon.
Powers And How They Got Them
Powers: Their eyes glow a poisonus green, they have snake like fangs that are filled with deadly venom that eats away the flesh of those who are bitten if not treated immediately. Even the youngest kit has enough venom to kill a full grown twoleg. Flaps around their necks that extends when angry or threatened. (Like the king cobra) Few can even talk to the snakes and barter with them for things like food and protection. Not everyone can speak snake a cat has a 50/50 chance of being born with this gift. (Roll a dice 1, 3, & 5 you don't get the power. 2, 4, 6 you get the power)
How They Got Their Powers: A hundred cats where captured off the streets and taken to a science lab where they where tested on and put through excruciating pain on a daily basis. They where pumped full of the venom of a Black Mamba snake. They where also pumped full of blood from them King Cobra Snake. They where tested of for years, their kits where taken as soon as they where born and tested on and would often be returned on the edge of death. Many kits where killed by these twolegs. Finally after ten years of testing the cats revolted. Instead of acting scared and skittish where the humans didn't feel threatened at all by them they attacked. They bit and killed many of the twolegs including a twoleg kit who had been visiting with her dad. Once all the twolegs where killed those who where free helped free those still cages and escaped into the city.
Positions
King: Leads, guides and rules over the tribe
Queen: The mate of the king, she helps rule the tribe. But her main job is caring for them and healing the sick and injured.
Prince: The first born son and heir to the tribe
Duke: The King's confidant, the one he trusts the most, he helps guide the tribe and is in charge when neither the King nor the Queen is around.
Duchess: The first born daughter of the King and the mate of the Duke. She is also the head huntress. (Once she reaches 2 years she is given to the Duke for their mate)
Earl: The first born son of the Duke and Duchess, often becomes the next Duke. He is in charge of all the Soldiers.
Countess: The mate of the earl, she often helps the Queen take care of the tribe as well as helping the Duchess lead the Huntresses. The Countess has many jobs, hunting, healing, caring for the kits of the King and Queen as well as the kits of the Duke and Duchess along with hers and her mates if they have any.
Elders: Those who have grown to old to hunt or fight and have chosen to retire for the remainder of their days.
Soldiers: The soldier are the toms who train day and night to fight. They protect the tribe from danger and patrol the borders. They are made completely up of males. They are the strongest, the swiftest and are always kept ready to protect their tribe.
Huntresses: The hunters are the She-Cats who go out and hunt day and night to keep the tribe fed. They are led by the Duchess and Countess. They are swift and sure of foot.
Trainees: These are the cats that are in training either to become a Soldier or a Huntress.
Kits: These are cats that are under eight moons old. They are not allowed to leave their dens until they are three moons old and than they are not allowed to leave the fifth floor until they are eight moons old accept to eat.
Food
Rats: Rats are the most common source of food the Huntresses bring back. They can be found all over the twoleg place.
Mice: Are the second most common source of food and they are also found everywhere.
Birds: Birds are fairly common especially crows. Only the best hunters are usually able to catch them. They're usually found in twoleg yards that have bird feeders in them.
Squirrels: Squirrels are fairly common they can be found where ever you can find a tree.
Twoleg Food: When food is scarcest it is not uncommon for Huntresses to dig through the trash to find left over twoleg food to bring back to eat.
Kittypet Food: It is not uncommon for a cat to warm up to a twoleg and eat the cat food they provide during the harshest of times.
Rabbit: Rabbit is a very rare food source, it's rarely seen in the twoleg place. When it is seen Huntresses won't stop until they catch it for it is considered a rare delicacy that could feed half the clan.
Fish: Some twolegs have ponds in their yards filled with large gold fish or koi. Twolegs love their fish and kittypets that belong to those twolegs will protect the ponds. So its a rare treat for the tribe because they normally have to fight or sneak in when the kittypet and twoleg are inside.
Herbs Found In Their Territory
Catnip: Catnip is commonly found in twoleg gardens. When the tribe find a new source of it they mark the garden heavily and set up two of their strongest guards there to protect it from other cats.
Snake Root: A large green plant found only in twoleg gardens. The root of the Snake Plant "Snake Root" is the only known cure for the bite of a tribe cat. All sources are highly guarded. A clan must trade with the tribe for some of the root of this plant.
Agave 'Desert Love': A plant rarely found in twoleg gardens. The sap from the leaves cures burns. When a source is found the Queen often harvests some and replants them closer in a private garden she has made.
Arisaema Candidissimum 'Trumpet Flower': Another plant only found in twoleg places. It is believed that the dew collected from inside the "Trumpet Flower" before the sun rises is believed to extend the life of a cat as well as cure most illnesses. The Prince must drink this at his coronation when he becomes King.
Arisaema Constatum 'Cobra Stem': A long leafy plant that looks like a cobra posed to attack. The leaves are collected chewed and rubbed into the fur of the King when he passes.
Battle Moves
Snake Bite: This is to be used only as a last resort. Bite your opponent pumping them full of your snake venom. (Roll a dice 1-3 They'll die in 1 hour 4-5 they become extremely week as the poison runs it's course, it takes them a whole moon to recover completely but they live. *Either way they can no longer fight*)
Snake Scrape: Scrape your fangs across the cat lightly scratching them putting just enough venom to weaken them and put them out of commission for a few days.
Territory
Camp: The tribes camp is a large abandoned building with 5 floors. The soldiers, and soldiers in training sleep on the first floor to keep watch and make sure no one enters without them knowing. Huntresses and Huntresses in training sleep on the second floor. This is also where the clan gathers to eat and where they store their food until meal times. Two Huntresses guard the food at all times. The third floor is reserved for the elders. There are many rooms that they can choose from on this floor with couches, chairs and beds scattered throughout the rooms making soft beds for the elders. The fourth floor is split in half, one half for the King and Queen and the other half for the Duke and Duchess. No one is allowed on this floor without permission, you must stay on the stairs when going up or down. The fifth floor is the nursery where there are several rooms with many couches, chairs and piles of old blankets and clothes that would make great nests for kits and nursing Huntresses. The Earl and Countess also live on this floor for extra protection.
Abandoned Alley: A dark and abandoned alley lies to the east side of their camp. It leads to the only way inside the abandoned building where they make camp. Four soldiers are kept on guard here at all times.
High Ledge: A ledge on the third floor outside an open window looks down on an old, dark abandoned alley. The tribe gathers in the alley for meetings the King, Queen, Duke and Dutches sit on the ledge to speak to their tribe. Normally only the King speaks while His mate and the Duke and Dutchess sit or stand just behind him.
Secret Garden: A small garden the Queen has made in an old abandoned twoleg nest about a half hour walk to the south of their camp. Here she plants healing herbs that she harvested from twoleg gardens. Only one other cat knows about this secret garden that being the Countess who helps her care and tend for the garden.
Snake Ledge: To the west of the their camp is a large overgrown twoleg place surrounded by tall unmowed grass that grow's higher than a cat. In the middle is a large rock. The yard is the home of dozen and dozens of snakes some poisonus some not.
Hunting Grounds: A small meadow lying North east of the twoleg place. The clan recently discovered this place, it is not used for the daily hunting for fear of over hunting the prey that lives there. Huntresses are allowed to hunt here only once every half moon. This is also where they send Huntress Trainees for their hunting test.
Territory: The Tribe Of Poisoned Fang's territory encircles the entire Twoleg place. There are hundreds upon hundreds of twoleg homes, streets, and allies. The tribe knows every single inch of their territory. They know all the quick escape routs to get away from dogs and twolegs as well as all the hiding spots. Tree's are scarce and scattered but almost every twoleg place has a yard which gives places for the tribe to hunt.

King At Snake Ledge: "Set your sacrificial prey in the center of the rock than gather round me as we pray." ...
(Everyone including the King sets the prey in the center of the rock than gather around the King in a circle with the King in the center)
King: "Oh great Snake Spirits, here our prayer tonight on this new moon. We have kept our promise and brought to you your sacrificial prey. We ask that in return that you continue to guide us and protect us. Keep the blood and poison that runs through us as well as you strong so we may continue to protect our tribe from those who would wish to destroy us."
(A snake appears on the rock and looks down at them, it bows it's head in acceptance of their sacrificial prey and their prayer and takes a piece of the prey than disappears. One after another six more snakes appear and bow their heads to them and takes a prey before disappearing. When the last snake has dissapeared the King bows his head and in quiet leads everyone home.
