Blizzard strolled through the forest, out on a small morning patrol. She panted slightly, not used to the warmth of Green-Leaf, as dew fell from the tree branches she went by. Blizzard thought of the recent news in the clan. There weren't a lot of news in the first place, though. They remained small-- something the molly was concerned about-- but the clan was managable. Valentine had healed her cough, thanks to Flashgorse, and was now a warrior of the clan, and Gorsetail remained the deputy of the clan for now. Herbs were relatively easy to find, the territory having such a good and lush forest, and Flash managed to keep the stock pretty nicely filled for the time being. This didn't erase her concern, though. The clans were made. The game was on, and to survive, they needed high numbers. The other clans already had young, and they'd grow up much more experienced than the cats who raised them, with everyone sharing the knowledge they gained while travelling around with the small ones.
And Blizzardclan had Lynxclan to share borders with, Blizzardstar internally spit in disgust. Her face turned to a grimace as she thought what they could do. The four original clans were savage with eachother when fighting for territory, though not many killed, and her clan was lucky to not have been attacked yet. She could've sworn she scented some Lynxclan cats crossing through the territory sometime earlier, though. They couldn't possibly be planning to attack, could they? She really hoped not.
She walked and walked, her steps heavy, and finally decided to pay attention to her surroundings more carefully, do her duty. She didn't see much while she was thinking, but she did hear some rustling somewhere near. Her ears perked up on her head as she slowed her step, carefully going into a lower stance as she tried to figure out if it was her imagination or somebody was invading her territory.
